A Grand Master’s Admonishments to His Champion

The Champion, as a representative of the Order, must embody the noble virtues of courage and fortitude, yet temper these with grace and humility.

He must strive to be chivalrous, extending the hand of courtesy to all, whether on or off of the field of honour.

He must make himself available to his bretheren for training in matters of arms.

He must know that his station is neither gift nor glory, but foremost a responsibility.

He must keep himself fit and at the ready to defend the honour of the Realm.

He may be called upon to answer the challenge of an enemy, even though the threat of that enmity be formidable.

This is what makes a true champion of Selohaar. Let honour be as his shield, and conviction be as his sword. Renvarr Etan!
