Ok, so the bad news:

Roger Siggs is going to have to destroy the current database and put a new one in - it's badly corrupted. This means that all users will have to have new accounts created, and we're going to lose all the current threads and posts here.

The good news:

We'll have a much hardier, secure, and more reliable forum, which will include a switch to the newest version of the forum software.

Sorry about this folks, this really stinks. But right now, we're rather out of options. The forum is badly broken (I can't even log out of my account!).

I'll get everyone's user avatars together to at least remove some of that gruntwork.

Yours,

CHT, GMOS

We're having some forum issues folks, so bear with us. The board's appearance will be 'off' for a bit...

Great to hear Sir John will be in attendance; bummer to hear our Lord Herald will not.

Lord Michael - do you know if you'll be at the September gather? We're having the Grand Pas d'Armes, so I hope your voice will available to proclaim the day's glories on the Field of Honour.

Yours,

CHT, GMOS

To get an idea of how this tournament has worked in the past, see this article from the Essays page:

Bear in mind, this is just a template and can be amended as needed.

Hello!

Just catching up. Beeswax pillars for everyone would be pretty expensive, but votives would be cheaper.

Keep the ideas coming!

No doubt.

It's good to see there was such a diverse mix in the weapons. Next time you just need to add poleaxe and you've got almost the whole shebang!

Again, well done!

Looks like Kenton continues to be a wrecking machine with the longsword! Don't let it go to his head too much. Wink

Cheers!

Greetings to all,

We're still on for the 21st. The wrinkle: they've got stuff going on at the hospital in the afternoon, and would therefore like us to perform between 11am and noon.

I hope this works for all involved...

To all guests and members,

The Order of Selohaar's forum is intended to further the study of the knightly and mystic arts, serve as an online meeting place for those of like mind, and foster a spirit of camaraderie among chivalrous individuals.

To these ends, we must insist upon the following:

1. No flaming, baiting, insulting, trolling or other destructive internet behaviors are tolerated here. Violators will be warned, and if they do not heed said warning, removed. Remember, this is the Order's house, not a place where freedom of speech trumps the demands of civility.

2. Please do not derail topics.

3. Socializing and off-topic discussion are allowed in the Lionheart Inn. However, this is not a place for heated political debate. There are other places on the internet for such topics.

4. Please use English for all posts.

5. You must register using your real, full name.

More guidelines may be added in the days to come, but we hope to keep things simple. So long as everyone here is respectful, that should be possible.

Enjoy your time in our forums!
