No way to migrate the threads to the new database?

Ok, so the bad news:

Roger Siggs is going to have to destroy the current database and put a new one in - it's badly corrupted. This means that all users will have to have new accounts created, and we're going to lose all the current threads and posts here.

The good news:

We'll have a much hardier, secure, and more reliable forum, which will include a switch to the newest version of the forum software.

Sorry about this folks, this really stinks. But right now, we're rather out of options. The forum is badly broken (I can't even log out of my account!).

I'll get everyone's user avatars together to at least remove some of that gruntwork.

Ok - Just read this article and was struck by how the center of the triquetra, the void as it were, can be used to bore a square hole.  By encorporating the geometry of a circle into the triangle (3) you get to the square (4).
