Hello all

VSA held its first Exhibition Tournament this past Saturday, which was well attended by a crowd of about 40 people.  We had a great deal of fun and there was much good fencing, camaraderie and chivalry to go along with it.  You can find pics from the event here:

This was Wayne and my first times wearing perf-plate helmets, and I have to say that I have some changes to make to mine for sure...  more, and larger holes, and adjusting it so that it doesn't sit so low on my head.  It was a distraction and inhibited me from doing my best, but we at least all looked good, acquitted ourselves well and I feel no shame in losing bouts to such excellent students.

The Program Coordinator at Connecticut Children's Hospital extends her thanks to the Order for the event this past weekend.  The children & their families (as well as some of the staff) loved it as well.  The visit was a complete success & to quote our Grand Master, "this is an excellent chivalric task."  Congratulations to all of the participants.

Ok, great - now we just need to ask Veronica and Herr Torres.

Greetings to all,

We're still on for the 21st. The wrinkle: they've got stuff going on at the hospital in the afternoon, and would therefore like us to perform between 11am and noon.

I hope this works for all involved...
